Also, I'd love it if someone could verify the paths for the remaining packages. I noticed in
The .dylib stuff was a relic of earlier experiments, as I noted later in that thread. DItch the dylibs; f ...

I could still run my test program in D by renaming my main() to SDL_main() and linking with libSDLmain.a, but there seems to be a problem concerning memory allocation. Just calling std.string.toString ...

For those who aren't aware, SDL 2 (currently in development as 1.3) will do away with SDLmain completely. So none of this hackery will be needed on Mac.
Yeah, but who knows when stable SDL 1.3 will b ...

Was pointed here via PM. It's been a long time since I've actually looked at this, but I have been able to compile and run Note: This is a bit hacky at this point, as I don't destroy the pool afterwar ...

Good idea. I'll ask him if it crops up again.

In the meantime, though, I seem to have fixed this by reverting from SDL 1.2.12 to SDL 1.2.10. That is to say, I haven't been able to reproduce it usin ...

Here's that stack trace I mentioned. (Apple's Crash Reporter rocks!) Any help with this would be grand. Free copy of the game to anyone who helps me track down the problem. Smile

I've ported my Derelict game to Mac OS X. It compiles, runs, renders via SDL+OpenGL, displays fonts via SDL_ttf, loads images via SDL_image, and plays sound via SDL_mixer. Still a few rough edges to s ...

I can verify that this works on Linux using DMD 1.018, for DerelictGL and DerelictGLU at least. I don't use any of DerelictIL* so I can't say if those work.

It's necessary if you have two different modules with different paths but the same name. If you don't use -op in this situation, the object fi ...

Small heads-up: Using dmd 1.017, running "make -f Makefile.unix" under Linux as instructed results in some weird syntax errors. These can be fixed by modifying the makefile so that it passes ...

How about this (untested)?

static if (size_t.sizeof == 8) version=bits64

I don't know if size_t is actually adjusted properly for 64-bit OSes or not.
