I'm planning to learn and evaluate D for some upcoming projects.

Some projects would involve GUI interfaces so I will probably try to learn DFL along with it.

dmd.2.0.34, ok you're using D2, in D2 the name is object.di and should be in the zip.

So where do I get object.d? Where does it go?

I don't know what "shell" does but the error message usually means it either can't find object.d or phobos.lib. It could also mean it can't find sc.ini which is the file with the location of ...

When I attempt to run the samples I get this:
