dsss does not seem to be progressing of late and version 0.78 it still broken for me so I am still on 0.75.

Is there some sort of plan for the future and does the project need help?

This is a known bug in dmd 1.046.

1.045 works and there will be a fix in 1.047 hopefully.

It doesn't matter...it never executes the compiler when I try it, it gets stuck o n parsing.

derelict tries to load libIL.so on linux, which isn't present unless you have the development package installed -- even though the "release" package of devil is installed.

Derelict requires and apparently newish sdl mixer 1.2.7 +

This a problem for me at the moment since ubuntu 8.04 has only 1.2.6-3 in it's repository.

I can probably make it work in my development ...

I compile a projects with dsss on windows. If I then add the -g flags to dsss.conf optlink fails to work. The only way I can get it to work is by shortening the environment path down to a minimum.
