I sort of like the idea too, but there are some issues which need careful thinking about first.
The main is, how do I get the resulting output of the plugins to DMD?

Sounds badass...looking forward to using D to kick some robot ass...
My suggestion would be to have the AI be programmed in D and compile them as shared libs (dll or .a) and then loaded into the ga ... |

Well it might keep people from asking why when they rename linux.make to Makefile and then just type "make" it gives them errors
It builds libmango.a just fine, though, so that's all that really ... |

mango_release_1-1.zip doesn't seem to contain mango/test/unittest.d and xml.d
Just thought you should know
EDIT:
Actually, it seems that it doesn't contain anything pertaining to unittest ... |

Also, look into Markers for putting a little error icon to the left of the line where the error was made.
I've been reading up on the Eclipse API and whatnot, it's pretty slick. |
