Hi,
I'm a D newbie, and one of the first things I did to see what was going on with libraries was to check the project listing on this site. I found it very frustrating that:
1) There seem to be at least three projects doing any specific task
2) Almost all the projects are no longer maintained.
I think it would help things out a lot if the unmaintained projects were all placed separately in the main list of projects to clarify what libraries are (somewhat) usable and where to focus development.
Thanks,
Michael |

I think ultimately, Brad's solution will be the best, one that involves sorting of projects based on activity metrics. |

By the way, the current plan is described in this thread: Lets clean up forum from dead projects!
It'll take some time yet to implement this, but Rome wasn't built in a day. |

I'm just glad to hear that it's on the agenda. |
