keinfarbton: I know you have moved on to tiolink but I wonder anyway if you could update tioport to use the latest tango, because I relay like to use your SWT port. |

I tested it with tango r2631 and dmd 1.022 on linux. There was no problem.
I updated the README file.
What is the error you get? |

A bunch of errors concerning tango's IO. I can't remember all errors now but for example you use "Stdout.buffer" which is not defined. |

Actually I tried to compile tioport, I assumed it was the tool you use to convert the Java code to D and thought I try to convert SWT 3.3.
Now I have complied the SWT Minimum HelloWorld example and that compiles, but it don't run, noting happens, I have the .dll files in the same directory as the application. Everything under windows. |

hm, right i did not compile tioport itself. Only the swt port with the current tango trunk. that worked.
Hm, i could fix compile problems in tioport, but it will not be possible to convert SWT 3.3. in theory there is a chance, but there are so much corner cases were it can probably not work, that it will need further effort in tioport to make it work for SWT 3.3 also. |
