The comments in D sources are always reformated when they are converted into a document. To keep the original format, we can use the HTML markup '<pre></pre>'.

Asuming you want to use <pre> for the example code in the documentation, using the Ddoc Example section might be a better option.

Ddoc Example just gives a mark of example. It does nothing about the ouput format.

I hand edited the file before generating the documentation you see in the link, GtkD currently has the examples as just text.
