I am new to this whole thing, but i followed the instructions to install it, and it said it installed ok, but there is no D Project when i go New -> Project. Am I missing a step? If I go into the Product Configuration, Descent 0.4.3.20070907 is listed
Eclipse Version: 3.3.1.1 |

found the odd problem - i was using the built in zip in Windows XP to extract eclipse. which i did several times and it didnt let me use descent. i then used 7zip, and it worked?
so ... if anyone else gets weird problems (no error messages, just some things dont work) with Eclipse, don't use XP's zip |

|
|
Ok I finally managed to get descent installed with the new 4.4, but I can't compile. Is there any instructions on how to go from start all the way to able to compile D code? I really want to get into D, but after 3 weeks, still cannot get anything working.
Also all the mangos and tangos and phoboes ... its just confusing.
Anyone got any recommendations? |

Is there any information on setting up descent on a Linux installation of eclipse? I've got some trouble and am looking for a decent tutorial. |
