Can you consider reverting to something similar to the original loader in duit, it was used by leds to load the scintilla libs, however the new design has a fixed library list, and I could not see how you use it to add other libraries, without hacking paths.d

Building with gdc this template causes an error

public static void link(T)(inout T funct, string symbol, string[] libraries ...)

I just commented it out, and everything built ok (including leds' scintilla loader) - so I guess it's redundant.

I commented it out in svn r709.

GtkD itself doesn't use the string version.
