I like mailing lists. Perhaps not as accessible as the forum for others to read, but IMO easier to use for members.
Also, I think it's nice to have the possibility to send the svn diffs to a svn mailinglist (per project, of course). When there's several contributors to a project, the need for better auditing of changes might arise. Especially since log messages very often are way too short (zero length, that is). |

Talk to me more about mailing lists. How do I implement them? I've never used them before.
On the diffs issue, if you read the Subversion Book at http://svnbook.red-bean.com/ and especially Ch3 Sec5 http://svnbook.red-bean.com/svnbook/book.html#svn-ch-3-sect-5, you can see that doing updates and conflict resolution before committing your changes is a good way of achieving the same thing (I think). _________________ I really like the vest! |
