I think D people should concentrate all the efforts in a common path. Actual developments are completly dispersed: each one is solving it's own needs or small dreams... but no one is thinking in a real tool for generic solutions.

I'm thinking, actually, in the MONO project that produced a complete and alternative .net platform in only 2 years (with the help of some companies): the project is growing, but always with a lighted path.

D is a good languaje, but with incompresible lacks: ¿where is the debugger?... ¿why not a common object oriented framework?.

Really: All people working in a unique way... I can't select the D choice when I have a complete Framework and a good languaje like C# that gives me all I need (all but native code Sad...)

But this is only an opinion... I love D.
Antonio.

I agree in general, however i think d is still getting on its feet. I'd like to eventually see some sort of package management system for d source code that could make things pretty slick. Personally I'm starting with building a good solid debugger first....
