I've discovered the D programming language little time ago. While I was trying to find a combination of easy programming and good performance to write a gtk/opengl I found this.
Now I haven't to mix python/c++ or c++/c# bindings for the engine/gui programming, I have all in one piece.

But I've got some doubts. First. Am I able to use glade for GUI programming? Because it's a little slow to code all the gui, although not impossible.
I'm very interested in watching a good quality binding to gtk like this. Is it usable right now? Because if so, I could start coding some sort of IDE.
The only incovenient is the current maturity of both duit and D, but as time passes this should improve.

I guess you already understand Duit status.
Some body else was able to use glage directly with D. I don't know the details but probably a binding to libglade exists - and you don't need Duit for that.

check if IDEs on wiki4d could satisfy you - otherwise start a new one Smile
