This is the second time I get caught by forgeting to to "showAll()" on the component.
DUI would automatically show() all widges on creation (it was configurable).
Should Duit also have it?
Gtk guys will say no.
other toolkits users will say... what?

I'd prefer not, but it's not a big deal as long as it's configurable. |

I have a background in Gtkmm, so it's obvious that I think Duit should not automatically show them. Atleast this should be the default, and there could be something like duit.showAllAutomatically(), or something like that for those who want it.
But which ever you choose as the default, I don't have a strong opinion about it as long as it's configurable.
I've struggled with it a couple of times myself, but now that I remember it, it is not a problem for me. |
