Will ares keep the naming that phobos has? Does it have to have the same naming as phobos in the dmdrt? For example, std.string has a function called icmp, which isn't very obvious what it does (unless you've used a language with this function before). Is it possible (could it happen in ares), to rename the function to something more readable, such as compareCaseInsensitive or compareToIgnoreCase? Or to even do case insensitive as Code: | // bool - true if case insensitive
compare(string, string, bool) |
Basically, will ares have consistent naming, or will it stick with the mixed style that phobos has? |

dmdrt and dmdgc will remain as close to Phobos as possible, as this is really DigitalMars code and I'm trying to avoid any unnecessary changes (as they complicate diffs). As for Ares proper, anything goes. |
