Someone suggested to use an OO Assembler. I think HLA (High Level Assembler) is what could be used.

Maybe you should also have a look at the native Oberon System, because the GC could be a matter of interrest and (my suggestion) to borrow some ideas regarding runtime loadable modules.

D is modern language and Fasm is modern and free assembler with good syntax |
