I've written a small app that converts a RTF document (ascii) to a simple unicode bbCode file (std.file.write). A tiny DFL app then opens (std.file.read) this file and displays it in a textbox. Usually this works fine, but I got feedback by a tester running Windows XP, who got this:
which is an "ANSI-interpreted" version of the unicode file.
Now, what makes me wonder is the fact, that I've tested the program on other Windows XP and 2000 PCs without any problem.
Do you have any idea (no matter how absurd) what this error could relate to or how I could circumvent it? |

Thank you very much for your code. It looks promising and already helped me with a config file.
I've submitted a new version of the program and hope the mentioned user will test it again. In case he does I'll post the result here.
