I just did a fresh install of Kubuntu 8.10 and noticed that my system has a libopenal.so.1 but not a libopenal.so.0 as is listed on line 148 of alfuncs.d. I'm not sure what's changed in OpenAL that's caused a version number increment.
I'm still up against other issues in getting my engine to run on linux (used to work fine), so I'll let you know if I run into anything else. |

Thanks for letting me know. Does the new lib work with the current DerelictAL? If so, I'll add it to the loader. _________________ The One With D | The One With Aldacron | D Bits |

I didn't do thorough testing, but it works well enough to bind enough functions to initialize a context and play a sound file. I noticed no problems. |
