Finally, the trunk has been updated. Thanks to okibi for getting the pre-release 7 packaged and available by Friday. I made some minor modifications, tested the phobos version on linux and windows xp, and made the commit. Tango still needs to be tested (unless somebody already has done that).

Some of the changes from pre-release 7:

    * removed src/GtkD.d
    * removed README_GIT
    * renamed cairoLib -> cairo and cairoLibtypes -> cairotypes
    * fixed up the dsss.conf files to support windows builds correctly
    * made changes to src/demo/gtkD/TestWindow.d so that it doesn't crash on windows
    * removed old duit branch from trunk... it's gone... completely!

NOTE: not all demos are yet building or supported on windows. However, three directories have been tested to work on win32: gtkD, gtk, and cairo with dsss.

There still is much work to be done. Primarily, gtkc.<name>types should be automatically imported with its related package as per a suggestion made by another developer. Also it would be nice to be able to import package groups instead of having to import one module per class (ugly long lists in source the current way).

Please note, that okibi is now a gtkD Trac and svn admin, so please help him keep moving gtkD forward by giving suggestions, bug reports, and tickets. A number of developers already have access to this project, so there will be plenty of opportunities to get tickets resolved. Smile

Note also that I've created an "experimental" directory in the branches subdirectory of svn. In that directory, I commit a "simplified" version of gtkD: dsss only, restructured subdirectories, some minor cleanups. It's not complete and the addon's folders are not "compilable" with dsss yet... so consider it a WIP even though the gtk src builds into a library and a couple demos build and run.

Special thanks to Kaarna, Pse, okibi, and others for their contributions to gtkD and this release.

Have fun!
