Hi,

Is it possible to create a transparent control? i mean, like a Rect but with mouse events that can be located on front of other controls (a picturebox for example) without painting on top of them.

I want to do this because i want to add mouse hover events to specific areas of an image.

There's WS_EX_TRANSPARENT but it also causes it to skip mouse messages. How about just keeping a set of Rect`s and see if the mouse is in the bounds..
