Nightly build and Eclipse 3.4

Hi all,

I'm trying to install the latest night build on a fresh 3.4.1, on Windows.

Dropping the content in the dropins directory as eclipse/features eclipse/plugins does not work (or, at least, not for me!), and this is the cleanest way to do the job.

But neither dropping the features and plugins content in eclipse features and plugin directory (the hard way!) works.

Do I need to install the released version and then replace it with the nightly?

Someone can point me to a step-by-step way of doing it?

What does it mean that it doesn't work? The items for creating a new project don't appear? You are getting an exception somewhere?

I think the best way is to first install a release version following this guide: http://www.dsource.org/projects/descent/wiki/Installing. Then you install the nightly build following this guide: http://www.dsource.org/projects/descent/wiki/UsingNightlyBuildsUnderWindows, it should work on any os. Then you open Software Updates->Installed Software choose Descent and choose Update..., follow the wizard and then restart eclipse when told so.
