I've changed the path to the wiki so it's no longer publically accessible. It's been getting too many spam posts for me to be able to control myself and I don't know how to prevent them. Adding an image-based captcha hasn't worked.
If anyone wants to access it, it's available at yage3d.net/wiki2
There have been at least 500 spam posts and I haven't had time yet to clean them up manually.
If anyone has advice on how to fix this, I welcome it. |

In the past I had already blocked a ton of ip addresses. It seems to be a botnet capable of solving repatcha, but I haven't done much investigation to verify this. |

There are no solution. The bots crawl the net all the day long. The trick is to use an uncommon wiki engine, because the bots target only the main engines with known holes. A small wiki engine which doesn't do much is more than sufficient for Yage. There are probably plenty of choice around.

I've considered writing my own captha. I have php captcha code I've written and used on other sites. It's just a matter of plugging it into media wiki. |
