I just built and installed gtkd. Now I'm building the example "Hello World" from the code examples page. It compiles but refuses to run, giving the error

object.Exception@src/gtkc/Loader.d(122): Library load failed: libgio-2.0.so

A find command turned up no libgio* in /usr/lib/ /usr/local/lib or anywhere else I thought of looking. Is libgio a part of gtk+? I do have gtk+ installed and apps that use it run fine.

libgio is part of glib, and profides a lot of io functionally.
