Table of Content macro improvements

Reported by: larsivi Assigned to: pragma
Priority: major Milestone: WebSite 1.0
Component: Web frontend Version:

Description

I'm getting errors when using the TOC macro, mainly a message containing "-1".

Also, the default look of this is not very good, at least not with a new Theme. It should preferably match much better than the yellow that is there now.

Is TOC even supported on dsource.org right now? I see no reference to it on the WikiMacros page - and the only version I can find in Trachacks is only compatible up to Trac 0.9.

Do we still want this capability, and if so, should I look into going with the "yellow-right-nav" style or should I look into generating a more wiki-page kind of output?

FWIW, I found this which was encouraging. There's not much to this macro: http://trac.edgewall.org/attachment/wiki/MacroBazaar/TOC.py

I think it will be very useful, particularly in the large reference doc pages. The type I'm thinking of is the yellow-right-nav, just not yellow.

This is the one I've been meaning all along. Should be easily doable, I hope.
