I'd like to know if it is possible to provide a package with the complete api reference for download, with source code included. This would be useful for many people... They could just download the packages, but official packaging would be easier and best for both parts.

You will find some links for CHM of the API via the documentation page. As for downloadable HTML, I hope to have a proper solution soon.
