Contributions

If you want to contribute to Tango, there are two main areas in which this can be done, code and documentation. Here is a list of current and previous contributors.

Helping with bugs and issues

Registered bugs and issues can be found in the tracker, see for example all active tickets, there might some fruit there ripe for plucking.

Helping with documentation

If you want to add to the collection of examples and tutorials, we have made some conventions on how we would like them. Also, all the API docs should have a link into the wiki where annotations can be made. Good notes will be tried added to the documentation in a timely manner. Errors in the documentation, or important parts missing, might be noted in the tracker instead.

Additions to the library

If you have ideas for new packages in the library, enhancement requests can be made in the tracker, where patches and suggestions also can be attached. Adding such tickets is no guarantee for them to be added in a timely manner, or at all, though. Any new additions will go through a rigorous review process, and they will be required to give new features orthogonal to those already there. Before any additions are committed, they will need to be fully documented, and preferably have 100% test coverage. At a later point, this will probably be a full requirement, too.
