Does anyone know if this project has been abandoned?
I went to the repository and the last update was 9 months ago.
I am new to these boards so I thought I would start with a poll
If you are using another GUI toolkit, please mention it. I am new to D and intend on using it for GUI style apps. I'm normally a Java programmer but I do prefer that my applications are small and, most importantly, start up fast.
Regards,
Myron. |

Myron,
There's a newer 1.0 release on the dsource project page. I have no idea why these code changes are not being updated in the repository:

The project is clearly dead. Shawn Liu (the original creator of DWT) hasn't been showing around for long time, but he did great work and DWT works perfect. There are people using the project and they update it from time to time to compile with the latest version of DMD. The future of DWT will be the Tioport project, take a look at it, because even if someone decides to continue the project it will be useless if it can be automatically generated from the original java sources. |
