Trevor.
UniD looks like an interesting project. What features do you plan on implementing, and what differentiates it from other libraries such as Derelict ,ArcLib, or gtkD?

Great question.
First off, to the best of my knowledge...
- Derelict = bindings only
- ArcLib = good stuff for 2D games
- gtkD = GTK++ binding, and abstraction?
UniD is... (some planned, some already working)
1. Abstractions that deal directly with the host operating system
2. Bindings for useful libraries which will probably be used together with UniD
3. Good stuff for 2D and 3D graphical user interfaces
4. Good stuff for audio, video, and image processing
